Description:
Sitavia-MET is a prescription medicine for adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus to help control high blood sugar. It combines Metformin, a biguanide that reduces glucose production in the liver and improves insulin sensitivity, with Sitagliptin, a DPP-4 inhibitor that increases insulin release and reduces sugar production after meals. This combination helps manage blood sugar levels alongside diet and exercise. MET-Sitavia is not for type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis.

Directions:
• Take one tablet orally twice daily with meals or as prescribed by your doctor.
• Do not crush or chew.
• If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible unless it is almost time for the next dose.
• Do not double the dose.
