Uxorate is a film-coated tablet that contains Febuxostat, used in adults to manage chronic gout. It works by reducing the amount of uric acid in the blood, preventing the formation of urate crystals around joints and kidneys that lead to painful gout attacks. Continued use helps in reducing the size of tophi and controlling symptoms long term.
Directions:
Take one tablet once daily, at the same time each day. Can be taken with or without food. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered unless close to the next dose. Do not double dose.
