Cortreif Nasal Spray

Description:
Cortrief is a nasal spray containing Budesonide, a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation and allergic reactions in the nasal passages. It is used to relieve symptoms such as nasal congestion, sneezing, and runny or itchy nose caused by allergies or vasomotor rhinitis. Cortrief is also indicated to reduce the risk of recurrence of nasal polyps after surgery. The spray is easy to use and works locally in the nose, providing targeted relief with minimal systemic absorption.

Directions:
• Always use this medicine exactly as the doctor has told you. Check with a doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
•Adults and children aged over 6 years:
-Allergic nasal symptoms and nasal polyps
-The recommended initial dose is 4 sprays per day.
-1 spray into each nostril in the morning and evening or 2 sprays into each nostril in the morning If you have seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever), you should try to start the treatment with Cortrief a few days before the allergy season starts. You usually gain the full effect within a few days, but you may feel some relief after just a few hours. If your nose is blocked, you may use decongestant nasal drops for the first 2-3 days of treatment. If allergy symptoms affecting your eyes bother you, your doctor may also give you other medication to relieve the symptoms. When you have obtained the full effect, the dosage can be reduced to the smallest amount that is required to control your symptoms.
• Children:
-Use of Cortrief by children should take place under the supervision of an adult so that the spraying is carried out correctly and that the dosage is in accordance with the doctor’s prescription.
